Purpose-built tools that let a single operator extract geosynthetic rolls from vans, containers, or flatbeds without tearing cores or risking injuries.

Roll Puller Tool

Safety stats

4" Deeper core engagement vs. earlier generations.
1 Operator needed to unload an entire container.
0 Downward pulls—protecting cardboard cores every time.

Laser-cut armor plate teeth and forged shafts keep loads under control.

Pick the Roll Puller™ sized for your cores.

Model Core ID range Best for
RP3XL ≈2.75" – 3.25" cores Standard paving-fabric rolls shipped singly or banded in pairs/trios.
RP4XL ≈3.75" – 4.50" cores Oversized rolls, hybrid mats, or suppliers using larger cardboard cores.

Ask about custom sleeves if your supplier uses non-standard IDs.

Engineered for safe, repeatable unloading.

2016 redesign

Extended grip profile handles wider, heavier banded rolls without destroying cardboard cores.

Deeper core bite

Penetrates approximately four inches deeper than previous versions to spread the load.

Laser-cut armor teeth

Precision teeth maintain a sharp bite on slick liners and reduce slippage.

Forged shaft + ring

Heavy-duty shaft welds to a forged ring so forklifts, cranes, or winches can pull from any angle.

Workflow & best practices.

Recommended technique

  • Insert horizontally until the teeth seat, then lift slightly or pull level.
  • Guide rolls along rails, a dolly, or a waiting forklift to prevent core drag.
  • Never pull downward—downward angles add friction and can tear the core wall.

Operational benefits

  • One operator unloads full containers in minutes.
  • Reduces shoulder/back injuries from prying rolls manually.
  • Protects expensive rolls from being rewound due to crushed cores.
