Workflow & best practices.

Recommended technique

  • Insert horizontally until the teeth seat, then lift slightly or pull level.
  • Guide rolls along rails, a dolly, or a waiting forklift to prevent core drag.
  • Never pull downward — downward angles add friction and can tear the core wall.
  • Stand by the side of the truck, not behind the ropes or chains.

Safety First

Roll Pullers don't break with proper use. Chains, cables, and ropes do.

Rules of the dock

  • Never exceed the Working Load Limit (WLL). WLL is lower than the breaking strength — that's the point.
  • Stand at the side of the truck, not behind or in line with the pull.
  • Do not stand by the ropes or chains. A snapped rigging line kills.
  • Watch OSHA regulations. Never assume common sense — train every operator.
